Sprague Lake Trailhead
Paved lot, picnic tables and restrooms beside Sprague Lake, with a short loop round the lake that the park describes as wheelchair and stroller accessible. Open all year.
Sprague Lake sits beside its parking area on Bear Lake Road, at 8,701 feet, with 27 picnic tables, a vault toilet open all year and, in summer, flush restrooms with water. The loop round the lake has benches and lookouts and views of the Continental Divide; the park gives its length as 0.8 mile on the corridor page and 0.7 mile on its Sprague Lake page. The park’s Sprague Lake page says the lake is open year-round, with fishing, and ice fishing in winter.
