Trailhead in Horseshoe Park for Lake Ypsilon (4.5 miles one way) and Lawn Lake (6.2 miles), starting at 8,540 feet. Stock loading area nearby.
From Beaver Meadows Visitor Center, follow US 36 west about 4.3 miles to Deer Ridge Junction, turn right on US 34 and drive about 1.7 miles to Horseshoe Park, then turn left on the road to Endovalley; the trailhead parking is on the right. The park’s trail list gives Lake Ypsilon at 4.5 miles with 2,180 feet of gain and Lawn Lake at 6.2 miles with 2,249 feet, one way.
