Trailhead at the end of the Moraine Park road for The Pool (1.7 miles), Fern Falls (2.5), Fern Lake (3.8) and Odessa Lake (4.9), starting at 8,155 feet.
The Fern Lake trail starts where the road along the edge of Moraine Park ends, at 8,155 feet. The park lists The Pool at 1.7 miles, Fern Falls at 2.5, Fern Lake at 3.8, Spruce Lake at 4.7 and Odessa Lake at 4.9 miles one way. From Beaver Meadows Visitor Center, take US 36 west to Bear Lake Road, follow it 1.3 miles, turn right on Moraine Park Campground Road and then left at the sign for the riding stable and trailheads.
