Trailhead
Lily Lake Trailhead
Lot beside Highway 7 with vault toilets and a viewing dock, at the start of the Lily Lake Trail: benches, two bridges and a wetland boardwalk, with views of Longs Peak and Twin Sisters.
One of the park’s outlying areas, on Highway 7 south of town. The trail by the lake has benches, a viewing dock, two bridges and a boardwalk through a wetland that is good for spotting wildlife, with views of Longs Peak, Lily Mountain, Twin Sisters Peak and the Mummy Range; the park’s page lists it as accessible for people with mobility impairments. The park’s timed-entry and fees pages both name Lily Lake among the outlying areas they cover. The Forest Service also suggests this lot for the Lily Mountain Trail, a quarter mile to the north.
Read on the park’s Lily Lake trail page, timed-entry page and fees page, and the Forest Service’s Lily Mountain Trail page.
