Lily Mountain Trail
Forest Service trail #933 off Highway 7 to a 9,740-foot summit with views of Longs Peak, the Continental Divide, Lake Estes and the town. Level for a mile, then switchbacks and a short scramble.
A Canyon Lakes Ranger District trail that stays fairly level for its first mile, then switchbacks toward the top; near the summit, signs and small cairns mark a short scramble through boulders, and a lower fork leads to a saddle below it. The Forest Service lists views of Longs Peak, the Continental Divide, Estes Park, Mary’s Lake, Lake Estes, Twin Sisters, Lion Head, Storm Mountain and the Mummy Range. No motorized or mechanized equipment and no horses; dogs are prohibited where the trail enters Rocky Mountain National Park.
