Estes Valley Library
The library district's main library on East Elkhorn: books and media, public computers, printing, meeting rooms, a makerspace and programs, plus a holds-and-book-drop mini-branch, The Twig, at the community center.
The Estes Valley Library began in 1916 with 262 books in the schoolhouse and is now a public library district. Besides the main library downtown, it runs The Twig, a mini-branch on the lower level of the Estes Valley Community Center (660 Community Drive) for holds pickup and returns. In the paid-parking season (May 22 to October 18, 2026) the Town Hall/Library lot charges from 10 am to 5 pm; residents of the Park R3 School District can sign up through the library’s Park Like a Local program for two free hours a day. The second floor and Computer Commons close 15 minutes before the library.
Phone from the library’s contact page; history from its About page.
