Estes Park Aerial Tramway
Tram running since 1955 from Riverside Drive to the 8,708-foot summit of Prospect Mountain, with a viewing platform and café at the top. Open daily May 9 to November 1 in 2026; no park pass needed.
The tram carries riders 2,630 feet up to the summit of Prospect Mountain in about five minutes, for views over Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Longs Peak and the Continental Divide; the summit has a viewing platform, ADA-accessible restrooms and the Hungry Chipmunk Cafe. Tickets are sold by arrival time, online or at the desk: $39.95 for adults and $24.95 for ages 6 to 17, with children 5 and under free. The 57-space lot charges $7.95 for four hours and can fill on busy days. Summer hours (May 9 to September 7) were 8 am–8 pm.
