West Elkhorn shop making salt water taffy to the same recipe since 1935; on most mornings its 77-year-old Model K Kiss wrapping machine is at work. Open all year.
The shop has made its Estes Park Salt Water Taffy since 1935 and says it is the only store in town where you can watch taffy being made. Batches are cooked as needed, so there is no fixed schedule; the shop suggests calling in the morning to find out when. It is open all year, daily from 9 am to 6 pm at least, and often longer; boxes can be shipped from the store or ordered online.
